why ? Not because I need to study for exam or because I need to rush for my assignment. It's because today's Qingming Festival. Which is Tomb Sweeping Day a.k.a Chinese Memorial Day in direct translation. Basically, it's a day for the Chinese to Remember and Honour our ancestors at the grave sites. (Even if we have not met them before O.O)
So, how do we do it? We clean the tombs, we offer them food and joss paper accessories, and pray with jossticks. My greatgrandparents and grandmother's tomb has a bunch of earth behind it and every year, they never fail to greet us with a bunch of new grown "green hair". Means alot of different type of overgrown weeds la.. which we need to clean -.* When I was handing out the gloves to my parents, my brother asked me if I have taken his, and I said nope. He had left his in a paperbag which he placed at the back of the Mitsubishi 4WD. So, obviously.... it got flown away!!! HAhaha... But as we put on the gloves and they looked unexpectedly different. O.O Check out the picture below and you'll know why..

Obviously, when I take them from the cupboard, I took those which are on top. 3 pairs. and all 3 pairs have these cute little fingers poking out of them *big sweat* Still, that's all we have. So we have to work with them !.!
But! Ofcourse we don't only work with our fingers! We have some tools with us as well. Introducing..
Mr.Cangkul. He's too shy. So, no picture.
We also have..
Ms. Blu Bruumto help us destroy the nation of WEEDS! Muahahahahaa...

and also leftovers.

Presumably from last year. Not ours, ok! Some one else's...
and so we clean and we clean and we clean.. and we offer foods and we pollute again with offerings of notes that will last them for another year, new clothes, new watches, new Louis Vuitton bags so that my ancestors will not be left behind in trend in the other world. Not forgetting, offering of lots of DELICIOUS foods! emmmm~ Yum yum..
Burn, burn, burn.. Wait, eat, wait, eat, wash hands, go home.

I've done my part of remembering, honouring, cleaning, polluting, and eating.
Have you done yours?
P/s: I feel n smell so limau-ish now coz my mom told me to take a limau bath after that O.O
Forsakengel.
